Healthcare Attorney

micro1 is seeking experienced Healthcare Attorneys to join a specialized project focused on advancing next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your deep domain expertise to train AI models, ensuring they learn from high-quality, real-world legal input. You will play a critical role in shaping how these systems reason and perform within the complex landscape of healthcare law.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and annotate healthcare legal documents and regulatory materials to support AI learning objectives.
• Draft and critique sample legal content related to healthcare compliance, fraud and abuse, patient privacy, and telemedicine.
• Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to U.S. healthcare law and ethical standards.
• Provide detailed written feedback to enhance the legal reasoning capabilities of AI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify legal concepts and ensure project alignment.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in the United States.
• Significant experience advising on healthcare law, compliance, and regulatory matters such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal topics clearly.
• Previous work involving policy analysis, contract drafting, or regulatory review within the healthcare sector.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality legal input.
