Head of Security

FUN CRAFTERS is looking for its first Head of Security to build our security function from the ground up. You will be responsible for ensuring we meet strict security obligations for our partners, preparing the company for potential incidents, and guiding us through a SOC 2 audit in a fast-paced mobile gaming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement incident response plans, including tabletop exercises and management decision paths.
• Map and close security gaps to meet top-tier partner requirements for handling confidential material.
• Manage security for external collaborations, including risk assessment and secure onboarding processes.
• Secure critical assets such as publishing accounts, build signing keys, and production environments.
• Lead the company through the SOC 2 audit process from scope definition to final reporting.
• Select and deploy the baseline security stack, including device management and endpoint protection.

Requirements

• Proven experience building security functions from scratch or as the first security hire in a growing organization.
• Direct experience managing real-world security incidents.
• Background in handling sensitive data where leaks carry significant contractual consequences.
• Accountable experience leading a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit.
• Ability to justify security tool investments and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English communication skills.
