CloudLinux, through its subsidiary TuxCare, is seeking a Head of QA to transform its quality engineering function into a strategic, AI-powered department. This role involves overseeing quality assurance for enterprise-grade Linux security solutions, including vulnerability patching and lifecycle support for various distributions.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-quarter QA roadmap focused on product quality metrics and risk-based test coverage.
- Drive the adoption of AI tooling across the QA lifecycle, from test generation to failure triage.
- Mentor and lead a team of SDETs, fostering a culture of automation and end-to-end ownership.
- Collaborate with development teams to translate quality signals into actionable priorities.
- Manage test system infrastructure and resource strategy to ensure scalable and reliable testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years in test automation and 2+ years of experience leading a QA team.
- Deep expertise in Linux-based product testing, including RPM/DEB packages and multi-distro matrices.
- Strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting for test framework development.
- Proven experience in building or integrating AI/ML solutions into QA workflows.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture and Linux system-level environments.
