Head of IT - Remote

Zyte is a globally distributed team of over 250 professionals dedicated to enabling businesses to extract web data at scale. We are looking for a Head of IT to lead our internal technology function, focusing on engineering, automation, and the integration of AI into our daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and budget for internal IT, including support, business applications, and AI tooling.
• Lead and grow the IT Support and IT Tooling & Automation teams, setting high technical standards.
• Administer and integrate business-critical SaaS systems while championing a code-first automation culture.
• Manage the company's internal AI tool portfolio, ensuring effective adoption, governance, and cost control.
• Deliver superior, person-first IT support to our global, remote-first workforce.

Requirements

• 10+ years in IT engineering or internal platform engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with automation code (Python), APIs, webhooks, and integration frameworks.
• Proven track record of managing modern SaaS landscapes and delivering AI tooling within an organization.
• Deep expertise in identity and security, including SSO, MDM, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with compliance audits such as ISO 27001 or SOC2.
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging with both technical and executive audiences.
