Head of Engineering - Options

Keyrock is a leading digital asset market maker and innovator, currently seeking a Head of Engineering to lead our Options Engineering team. In this fully remote role, you will drive the evolution of our systematic options trading platform, overseeing automated quoting, execution, and risk management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an engineering team of approximately 7 professionals.
• Own and evolve our Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Provide technical direction on system design, performance, and production reliability.
• Partner closely with trading, quant, product, and risk stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Balance technical leadership with operational discipline and delivery ownership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in systematic trading, options market-making, or low-latency systems.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Rust, C++, or C.
• Deep understanding of algorithmic options trading, including pricing and risk controls.
• Experience building or maintaining low-latency trading systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and production-grade validation practices.
• Ability to work effectively within European or US East Coast time zones.
