GSCC | Strategic Communications Senior Associate, Super Pollutants

The Global Strategic Communications Council (GSCC) is seeking a Strategic Communications Senior Associate to join our international network of professionals dedicated to climate, energy, and nature. In this role, you will drive strategic communications campaigns focused on super pollutants, working to accelerate their reduction and influence global decision-makers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communications campaigns to shift global narratives on super pollutants.
• Build and manage a network of experts, media contacts, and influencers to amplify messaging across multiple platforms.
• Provide strategic communications expertise and data-backed messaging to partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global teams to identify campaign opportunities and resource requirements in key markets.
• Gather intelligence and engage with diplomatic and civil society partners to advance mitigation narratives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in strategic climate communications, specifically regarding super pollutants.
• Expert-level understanding of super pollutant issues across energy, agriculture, and food sectors.
• Proven ability to develop and implement high-impact communications strategies.
• Excellent understanding of the global media landscape, including digital and new media.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote, and culturally diverse global environment.
• Fluency in English, with a commitment to inclusive and empowering climate action.
