CodeQA is a spin-off from Synergy Codes - a dedicated product company building an AI platform that helps engineering teams understand their own codebase, with Synergy Codes supporting it. You'd join the CodeQAteam, reporting to its CEO.
Right now, the person out in the market is the founder - every conversation, first-hand, still figuring out what makes a CTO lean in.
We're hiring the other half of that motion: you build the demand and the message that get the right people curious before the first call. The founder keeps the conversations - you make sure she never runs out of the rightones.
About CodeQA
Our product, CodeQA sits on top of a team's own codebase and answers questions about it in plain language. Copilot writes code; CodeQA remembers it. We've narrowed the story to two problems: context breaks down (the people who understood the system leave, and teams rebuild what they already had) and AI makes it worse (teams ship code faster than anyone can understand it).
The honest part: we're pre-revenue. The pain is real and loud; what we haven't nailed is who feels it hard enough to buy - AI-heavy teams, fast-scaling or offshore teams, regulated EU teams. Finding that is part of the job. And we're AI-native: this role runs AI-first, using AI to do the work of a team of five.
What you'll own
The pipeline number. Qualified conversations sourced from marketing, warm and on the founder's calendar. That's the number, and you own it end to end.
Finding the customer. Which problem, in which kind of team, turns into "I need this" - mined from where engineers actually complain (Reddit, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn), read at scale with AI. That signal sets the message and the target.
Content, distribution and AI-search. What makes CodeQA the obvious answer when an engineering leader asks an LLM, a search engine, or a peer. You decide what gets made, where it goes, and what gets retired. Ifit dies on the page, that's a miss.
Positioning and the assets that sell. One sharp story for a category with no name yet, plus the assets that arm the founder's calls - CTO one-pager, ROI / token-cost story, the case study.
Outbound and experiments. Targeting, sequences, comment-thread and DM plays; propose new plays, back them with data, kill what doesn't move pipeline. Paid comes in only when it earns its place.
How you'll work with the founder
Sales stays founder-led - she runs the conversations and closes, and her pipeline is your scoreboard. Joint pipeline reviews, content built for the sales conversation, account-based plays, and a same-day feedback loop from her calls into your roadmap.
You won't be closing deals - at least not now. The founder runs sales today; later, if you want to grow into owning deals, that door is open. For now, your job is to build the machine that makes selling easy.
What we expect
4+ years in B2B SaaS marketing - demand gen, growth, or product marketing that carried a pipeline number (not just brand or reach)
Built a content and distribution program from something to something better - not just executed someone else's playbook
Proven pipeline, not just awareness - you can show content, campaigns or outbound that turned into real conversations and deals
Worked closely with sales (or a selling founder) - you understand the funnel, deal cycles, and how content shows up in the sales conversation
GEO and AI-search are central here, not a side skill - you understand how AI search and LLM visibility actually work in 2026 - how a company earns its way into the answer and gets cited, not just ranked - and can own that strategy end to end. Classic SEO still counts: you don't need to hand-code technical fixes, but you know what to publish, how to structure it, and how to measure whether we're the one being surfaced
An AI-first operator - you already run your marketing on AI (research, content, outbound, analysis) and reach for automation before headcount. If AI is still "a tool you sometimes open," this isn't the team
Write things people actually read - we don't care about your degree, we care that you think clearly on the page, in English a CTO reads to the end (C1+)
Willing to do the unglamorous discovery: living in comment threads, mining what prospects actually say, listening before publishing
Who you are
You think in motions, not posts - a bet becomes a whole play (audience, story, channels, follow-up) that adds up to pipeline
You write and you ship - message, page, email, in your own words, without waiting on product or design
You keep score in pipeline, not output - a gorgeous campaign that moves nothing doesn't interest you, and you change your mind when the numbers say so
You default to shipping and you're at home in ambiguity - an imperfect test this week beats a perfect one next month
You're genuinely AI-native - research, drafting, production, AI by default
Nice to have
Marketed devtools / technical / infrastructure software, or to developers and engineering leaders
Owned marketing or growth at an early-stage company; ran ABM or founder-led outbound support (Sales Navigator, Apollo)
Ran customer discovery or found product-market-fit signal from a blank sheet
HubSpot, GA4, basic attribution; paid social or search with a real budget
What we offer
Full ownership of marketing and pipeline, with the CEO as your daily partner, not an approval chain
Real autonomy: propose, argue, run - budget and airtime, not a backlog
A concrete 90-day plan (find the cohort that pulls, fill the founder's calendar) and freedom in how you get there
Feedback in days, not quarters; remote-first, async-friendly
Stable footing: development funded by a profitable parent company
Teams often forget what they built - and stop understanding their own code. CodeQA gives them that memory back. The market doesn't know we exist yet - that's the memory you'll build.
Let's talk.
