Growth Engineer (with Computer Science Background)

We are looking for a highly analytical and creative Growth Engineer with a strong computer science background to join our team and apply behavioral insights to optimize our product and growth work.

Key responsibilities

• Peer-reviewing Growth code and assisting in code reviews for growth experiments.
• Assisting with experiment launches on Google Firebase and debugging code.
• Collaborating closely with the product development and data science teams.
• Assisting in QAing new features prior to releases.
• Owning the translation of winning experiments into other languages and across platforms.

Requirements

• Strong background in software engineering with a degree in computer science, statistics, or a related technical field.
• High proficiency in JSON and Java or Javascript, with SQL as a bonus.
• Solid understanding of statistical significance, experimental design, and statistical bias.
• Data-driven mindset with a passion for identifying user patterns and optimizing key metrics.
• Interest in behavioral science and a desire to learn growth product management.
