Grants Manager - Europe,Part Time

VendueTech is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to lead our grant funding function. In this dedicated, standalone role, you will report directly to the COO and manage the full lifecycle of grant applications, from identifying strategic opportunities to ensuring compliance and reporting on active awards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate grant funding opportunities relevant to our R&D and commercial activities, including EU programmes and national schemes.
• Lead the end-to-end development of grant applications, including narrative structuring, budget preparation, and final submission.
• Own compliance obligations across active awards, including milestone tracking, reporting schedules, and maintaining auditor-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with the COO to develop our long-term grants strategy and position the company for future funding success.
• Coordinate with internal technical and finance teams to gather necessary inputs and ensure accurate expenditure tracking.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of grants management experience with a proven track record of successful applications to competitive programmes.
• Hands-on experience with European funding instruments such as Eurostars, Horizon, or Interreg.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex technical R&D work into compelling, fundable proposals.
• Strong attention to detail regarding compliance, documentation, and strict adherence to submission deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, manage upwards, and thrive in an early-stage, R&D-intensive environment.
