Golang Engineer – Senior

SOFTSWISS is expanding its team and seeking a Senior Go Developer to contribute to the development of the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook platform. This role involves designing and building scalable backend solutions for a high-load, business-critical system while collaborating with a professional team to shape the future of our sports betting software.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborating within a team using the Scrum methodology and participating in planning your own workflow.
• Engaging in architectural, infrastructure, and other strategic decision-making processes.
• Conducting code reviews for other team members and documenting your own code.
• Designing and building scalable backend solutions in Go to ensure system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with at least 4 years of recent experience using Go.
• Strong understanding of Go internals, including data structures, multithreading, and memory management.
• Experience with relational databases, complex SQL query optimization, Linux, and Docker.
• Proficiency in working with Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Intermediate English and Upper-Intermediate Russian language skills.
