Global Web Payment Manager

Hornet is the world's leading queer tech company, providing a digital home for millions of users to connect safely. We are looking for an experienced Global Web Payments Manager to own our web and alternative payment strategies, driving revenue growth and building a resilient, global payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global web payments strategy to increase revenue share outside of app stores.
• Source, onboard, and manage relationships with PSPs, acquirers, and payment partners while leading commercial negotiations.
• Identify and launch local payment methods across diverse global markets to improve conversion and customer experience.
• Analyze payment performance, including authorization rates and decline reasons, to drive product and engineering requirements.
• Define and implement strategies to reduce fraud, chargebacks, and disputes while maintaining a seamless user journey.

Requirements

• Strong experience in digital payments, fintech, or subscription-based digital businesses.
• Proven track record of managing multiple payment providers and negotiating commercial terms.
• Deep understanding of the payment lifecycle, including recurring billing, settlement, and fraud prevention.
• Ability to translate complex payment requirements into clear technical specifications for cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage stakeholders in a fully remote, global environment.
