Global IT Administrator (m/f/d) Label Printing Infrastructure & Print Servers

Expected, Nicelabel, printserver, BarTender, networks Your responsibilities, This role is initially for 20 hours/ week with a possibility to increase to full time, , Ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the global label printing infrastructure. You will be the central, global point of contact for the management of printing systems and their associated print servers., Main Tasks & Responsibilities:, Global IT Responsibility & Steering:, •Worldwide responsibility for the standardization, administration, and operation of the label printer infrastructure at all international production sites., •Central steering and coordination of local IT teams or external service providers for physical, network-side on-site work., Server Maintenance & System Updates:, •Administration, maintenance, and monitoring of central print servers and label management software (Loftware / Nicelabel)., •Planning and execution of server updates, software upgrades, and the central rollout of firmware updates for worldwide end devices., System Integration & Configuration:, •Remote configuration and network integration of new label printers into the global infrastructure., •Ensuring seamless connectivity of printing systems to global systems (MES, Printer UI)., •Installation of local Loftware instances., Remote Support & Troubleshooting:, •Central point of contact (2nd and 3rd Level Support) for global label printing incidents., •Remote error analysis and resolution of complex software, server, and network issues., Lifecycle & Asset Management:, •Global inventory and management of all device and software assets., •Monitoring the lifecycle of systems, strategic planning of replacements., Documentation & Training:, •Creation and maintenance of global IT guidelines, system documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)., •Training and support for local IT staff and key users at worldwide locations., Completed IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), an IT degree, or a comparable qualification., In-depth experience in the administration of Windows servers, print servers, and ideally central label software (e.g., BarTender, NiceLabel)., Experience in supporting and managing global IT infrastructures., Good knowledge of network technology (LAN, WLAN, TCP/IP) and remote support., Fluent English language skills for smooth international communication. , German language as a plus About Us, Viega.
