GitLab Platform Engineer

Experis Manpower Group is looking for a skilled GitLab Platform Engineer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining an enterprise GitLab platform. You will play a key role in CI/CD automation, platform scalability, and developer enablement within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the GitLab platform and GitLab Runners infrastructure.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates for development teams.
• Support Kubernetes- and Docker-based runner environments to ensure high availability.
• Automate platform processes using Python and/or Bash to improve efficiency.
• Integrate GitLab with security, monitoring, and various DevOps tools.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with GitLab administration and GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience managing GitLab Runners.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containerization.
• Proven scripting and automation skills using Python or Bash.
• Experience working in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE environments.
• Very good English communication skills for effective team collaboration.
