Generative AI Developer

SS&C Technologies is a global leader in financial services and healthcare software, dedicated to delivering transformational business value through intelligent automation. We are seeking a Generative AI Developer to join our team and build production-grade, end-to-end applications that leverage internal LLM platforms to solve complex enterprise challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize applications using internal LLM platforms while ensuring security and reliability.
• Create and maintain high-quality prompts using advanced techniques like RAG, few-shot prompting, and prompt chaining.
• Build full-stack applications by integrating LLMs with backend services and web-based user interfaces.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to translate business requirements into effective LLM-driven workflows.
• Ensure all solutions align with enterprise governance, compliance, and data privacy standards.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in building GenAI or LLM-based applications and 1–3 years of hands-on prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and experience with end-to-end application development.
• Strong understanding of RAG architectures, vector search, and service-oriented architecture.
• Ability to manage trade-offs regarding model performance, latency, and cost while mitigating hallucinations and bias.
• Excellent written English skills for effective prompt design and technical documentation.
