General QA Engineer

Kyivstar.Tech is a dynamic IT company and a subsidiary of one of Ukraine’s largest telecom operators, dedicated to creating high-performance technological solutions. We are currently seeking a General QA Engineer to join our cross-functional team and contribute to the development and maintenance of complex, high-load telecom platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full testing lifecycle, including planning, designing test scenarios, execution, and reporting.
• Perform comprehensive API and integration testing across microservices to ensure seamless data flow.
• Conduct performance and load testing to monitor system throughput, latency, and error rates.
• Develop and maintain automated test builds to support continuous integration pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, and developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on backend testing.
• Proficiency in Java or TypeScript and experience with automation tools integrated into CI pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and data integrity verification.
• Solid understanding of Linux/UNIX command lines, log analysis, and bash scripting.
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, TCP/HTTP protocols, and inter-service communication.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and monitoring tools like Kibana or Grafana.
