General Counsel

micro1 is seeking an experienced General Counsel to support a specialized project focused on contract playbooks, negotiation, and management. In this role, you will leverage your legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input that shapes how models learn and reason.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks based on diverse real-world scenarios and company requirements.
• Draft, analyze, and annotate a range of commercial agreements to ensure precision and compliance.
• Provide expert commentary on best practices for contract management and negotiation strategies.
• Evaluate and optimize existing contract templates to improve efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all materials meet project guidelines and AI-training objectives.

Requirements

• Current or prior experience as a General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard practices for contract review and risk assessment.
• Ability to work independently and deliver concise, actionable insights for AI training.
• Experience developing or utilizing contract negotiation playbooks.
