General Automation QA Engineer

CapsLock is a forward-thinking company specializing in IT marketing solutions for major North American partners. We are currently seeking a General Automation QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the highest standards of product quality through a blend of manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure comprehensive product coverage.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test suites using PHP and Codeception.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on tests created by developers, including unit and functional tests.
• Analyze requirements to design effective test strategies and scenarios.
• Investigate technical issues using logs, database queries, and various diagnostic tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and experience building maintainable automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of manual functional and exploratory testing techniques.
• Experience with tools such as ClickUp, Qase, and Allure for documentation and reporting.
• Proactive mindset with excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality standards.
