GCP Data Architect

Lingaro is seeking an experienced GCP Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will design and oversee robust data architectures, ensuring that our data engineering solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee data architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data engineering solutions.
• Define data models and schemas while selecting appropriate technologies such as data lakes and warehouses.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization to resolve bottlenecks and improve system efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as a Data Architect, with a minimum of 4 years working specifically with GCP cloud-based infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in data engineering concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python, along with experience in modern data transformation tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on distributed computing principles.
