Gaming Client #1 | Senior 2D Animator

SD Solutions is seeking a talented Senior 2D Animator to join a leading gaming client. This role focuses on creating high-quality, polished animations for slot and social casino games, requiring a candidate who excels at bringing static artwork to life while maintaining a premium visual style.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations for slot and social casino features, including symbols, UI elements, and celebration moments.
• Independently set up, implement, test, and polish animations directly within the Unity engine.
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors, UI Artists, and Game Designers to ensure a cohesive player experience.
• Review animations on mobile devices to refine timing, responsiveness, and overall visual impact.
• Proactively suggest animation improvements to enhance the feeling of luxury and excitement in-game.

Requirements

• Senior-level portfolio demonstrating strong 2D game animation and excellent visual polish.
• Strong practical experience implementing animations within Unity for production projects.
• Deep understanding of animation principles such as timing, rhythm, weight, and anticipation.
• Proficiency with Unity animation workflows, including states, transitions, and UI animation setup.
• Ability to take assets from source files through to final in-game implementation and polish.
