Funds Attorney

Micro1 is seeking experienced Funds Attorneys to join a pioneering project at the intersection of legal practice and artificial intelligence. This part-time contractor role offers elite legal professionals the chance to shape the future of AI by training, evaluating, and refining advanced models used in real-world legal workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to test AI capabilities.
• Review and assess AI-generated responses to complex contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to enhance precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to ensure rigorous assessment of AI performance.
• Collaborate with research and product teams to refine data guidelines and best practices for AI-driven legal solutions.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
• Deep familiarity with standard agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to innovation in legal technology.
