Fullstack Developer

Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform dedicated to making donations fast, seamless, and accessible for nonprofits worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our distributed team of over 80 engineers to help build and scale our complex product ecosystem, which includes donation widgets, donor portals, and administrative tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain resilient frontend and backend features using React and Node.js.
• Develop core products, including donation checkouts, embeddable widgets, and donor portals.
• Architect system components that scale across millions of monthly transactions.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code while driving technical design discussions.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and partner with product managers to shape the roadmap.
• Actively integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency and problem-solving.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional fullstack development experience.
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript, including the event loop, closures, and promises.
• Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem.
• Strong backend expertise with Node.js, preferably with Koa or NestJS.
• Experience with Webpack configuration, performance optimization, and profiling.
• High sense of ownership and accountability for technical deliverables.
