Full Stack Senior Drupal Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Drupal Developer to join an established US-based commercial real estate platform. You will lead the modernization of our digital infrastructure, transitioning from Drupal 8 to a current version, and subsequently spearhead the development of new platform features in an autonomous, async-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing Drupal 8 site and define a clear upgrade path to Drupal 10/11.
• Refactor custom modules and themes to ensure full compatibility with modern Drupal standards.
• Execute the platform upgrade while strictly maintaining SEO integrity, including URL structures and metadata.
• Develop new platform features including interactive map-based search, role-based access control, and subscription billing via Stripe.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, from technical scoping and decision-making to production deployment.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Drupal development, including custom module and theme architecture.
• Proven experience in managing complex Drupal migrations and version upgrades.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization within the Drupal ecosystem.
• Ability to work independently, scope technical tasks, and communicate progress proactively in an async-first setting.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate directly with the founder.
