Frontend Engineer Specialist

micro1 is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to contribute to a specialized project focused on advanced frontend development and high-quality technical communication. In this role, you will apply your deep domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn and reason through your real-world engineering insights and structured feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and articulate frontend engineering decisions, providing clear and concise written rationales for architectural patterns.
• Evaluate and critique code samples, component architectures, and state management solutions with actionable feedback.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including RFCs, ADRs, and design notes to guide development processes.
• Communicate complex concepts such as performance optimization, accessibility, and rendering strategies through precise written output.
• Contribute expert-level domain input to shape the development of AI models in the context of real-world engineering tasks.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in frontend engineering using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Proven ability to author clear, technically rigorous documentation and provide constructive code review feedback.
• Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and frontend performance optimization.
• Demonstrated familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive web development best practices.
• Exceptional written English communication skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical subjects clearly.
