Frontend Engineer

Make is an AI-first design and engineering agency that builds award-winning software used by millions. We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our global team and help craft large-scale, data-rich applications using modern AI-driven development techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex frontend functionality using React and TypeScript.
• Develop clear, reliable, and intuitive user experiences for data-rich web portals.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services and various third-party APIs.
• Utilize AI tools daily to streamline development, debugging, and documentation workflows.
• Collaborate proactively with other engineers in a remote-first environment to manage project progress and architectural risks.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with React.
• An AI-first mindset with practical experience using tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
• Proven track record of building at least one large-scale system from scratch.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in an autonomous, remote-first setting.
