Frontend Developer / Game Developer / iGaming Fully Remote

GameCode is a dynamic company established in 2017, specializing in the development of high-quality online slot games for regulated markets across North America and beyond. With a team of over 50 professionals, we are currently seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to help us push the boundaries of game design and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build engaging slot games using TypeScript and our in-house PixiJS-based engine, covering everything from reels and free spins to complex jackpot sequences.
• Implement high-quality game presentation elements including Spine animations, particle effects, custom shaders, and sound design integration.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and backend developers to transform design documentation into fully functional, shipped products.
• Ensure optimal performance across various platforms, including desktop and mobile devices, while adhering to strict jurisdictional and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Proven track record of at least 2 years in the iGaming or slots industry.
• Hands-on experience with PixiJS or similar 2D WebGL/canvas game engines.
• Strong understanding of OOP, composition, and design patterns, as our engine is class-based.
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted coding tools while maintaining full ownership and quality control over the codebase.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with a professional and reliable approach to remote work.
