Front-end Software Engineer (m/f/n)

Currently, for one of our Partners, we are looking for an experienced Frontend Software Engineer.

Offer:

• B2B contract via SHIMI Poland

• Mostly remote, services must be performed from within the EU. Occasional travelling to Brussels may be required (the client may request on-site presence in Brussels with 7 days’, at contractor’s cost)

• Rate: 200-500 EUR/MD nett+VAT (depending on seniority level)

• Long-term cooperation

Tasks:

• Development of front-end website architecture.

• Development of features to enhance the user experience.

• Building reusable code for future use.

• Apply data and security best practices: input validation, authentication/authorization, secure storage, compliant logging and monitoring.

• Ensure web applications are optimized for performance and functionality across different browsers and devices.

• Design and implement responsive applications.

• Design and implement SPAs.

• Design and implement reusable composable UI components.

• Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code on the front-end.

• Compile and analyse data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

• Perform unit/integration testing, debug, fix, and validate code changes.

• Deliver solutions that fulfil functional and non-functional requirements and align with user expectations.

• Write technical documentation.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mock-ups into functional, high-fidelity web pages and components.

• Build user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks, libraries and web standards.

• Implement state management solutions to manage data flow within complex applications.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and frontend best practices to ensure alignment with project goals and standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the similar position

• Higher education

• Experience in building complex, modular client-side applications with lifecycle methods props/state patterns, and component communication using Angular and TypeScript, HTML5, Javascript, including build tooling (Angular CLI, Webpack) and state management (both global and local state mgmt.) – at least 5 years

• Experience with EUI Platform – at least 1 year

• Experience in REST API integration and async handling – at least 6 years

• Experience with development lifecycle tooling, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), issue tracking (JIRA or similar), collaboration (Confluence or similar) – at least 4 years

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design – at least 6 years

• Experience with accessibility standards – at least 2 years

• Experience with front-end testing frameworks and tools for unit testing – at least 4 years

• Experience with Angular signals – at least 1 year

• At least 6 months experience with Once-Only principle supporting information systems including implementation at any level of public administration

• Experience with integration testing

• Experience in analysing complex front-end and UI issues and design solutions

• Experience reading and interpreting technical specifications, standards, and RFCs

• Experience in debugging, root cause analysis, and post-incident learning

• Experience in identifying technical debt and proposing incremental improvement

• Excellent knowledge of English (minimum level - B2)
