French to English Life Sciences / Pharmacovigilance Linguist

Welo Life Sciences is a specialized language and technology partner serving pharmaceutical, CRO, and medical device organizations in regulated global markets. We are currently seeking experienced French to English linguists to join our team for a high-volume, fast-turnaround pharmacovigilance program supporting a leading global pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Translate pharmacovigilance and clinical-regulatory content from French into English.
• Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) on safety-related documentation.
• Conduct thorough copy edit reviews to ensure accuracy, tone, and consistency.
• Meet strict, non-extendable turnaround times for time-sensitive safety content.
• Support transcription tasks by retyping scanned or handwritten documents for translation.

Requirements

• Degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field with significant translation training.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience translating life sciences documentation.
• Proven experience with pharmacovigilance content, such as SAE/AE reports, PSURs, or SUSARs.
• Strong proficiency in English and experience working with CAT tools, specifically XTM.
• High daily availability and the ability to commit to fast, consistent turnaround times.
