Freelance Subtitlers (Hiring Multiple Languages)

Wordbank LLC is seeking experienced freelance subtitlers to join a dedicated team working on high-profile content for a major global streaming client. This role involves translating and localizing Audio Visual trailer assets, ensuring high-quality output that meets specific technical and creative guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Translate actor dialogue and on-screen text for trailers, ensuring compliance with visual and technical specifications.
• Create and suggest forced narratives to communicate essential plot information.
• Perform quality assurance on subtitling work completed by other freelancers.
• Translate text for key artwork and digital marketing banners.

Requirements

• Native fluency in one of the required languages, including Albanian, Burmese, Bengali, Estonian, Khmer, Lithuanian, Simplified Chinese, Tamil, or Urdu.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional subtitling experience.
• Proficiency in using Subtitle Edit software.
• High level of English proficiency and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to feedback.
