Fractional Head of Finance

RevenueBase is building the data infrastructure that makes AI agents trustworthy. We are looking for a fractional Head of Finance to own our entire finance function as we scale from $2.5M to $15M+ ARR.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and rebuild the financial data pipeline between Stripe, HubSpot, and QuickBooks to ensure automated, accurate revenue tracking.
• Create internal dashboards for SaaS metrics, sales funnel analytics, and PLG funnel performance to replace manual reporting.
• Direct our outsourced bookkeeping team, manage the monthly close, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Navigate complex revenue recognition (ASC 606) for our mixed subscription and usage-based model.
• Build strategic models, including rolling cash flow forecasts and scenario planning, to support executive decision-making.
• Prepare investor-grade financial models and data rooms in anticipation of Series A fundraising.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a finance leader in a high-growth B2B SaaS or usage-based company.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Stripe billing infrastructure and mapping data to accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition for mixed business models and ASC 606 compliance.
• Ability to build financial models that withstand VC scrutiny and clearly explain unit economics.
• Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on automation and building scalable financial infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high autonomy.
