Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Jobgether is seeking a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join an early-stage, pre-launch startup. You will work directly with the founder to build and launch a new product from the ground up, taking primary ownership of the UI/UX while contributing across the entire stack.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship SvelteKit applications end to end, including server-side rendering and client-side state management.
• Develop maintainable TypeScript components and application logic using advanced typing patterns.
• Create responsive, accessible interfaces with Tailwind CSS and custom design systems.
• Build and maintain backend services using Fastify, including schema-based validation and authentication.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas, manage migrations, and optimize complex queries.
• Take ownership of frontend performance, CI/CD pipelines, and production debugging.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional frontend experience, including hands-on SvelteKit expertise.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency with a focus on end-to-end type safety.
• Practical experience with Node.js frameworks like Fastify, Express, or NestJS.
• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design, indexing, and raw SQL usage.
• Proven ability to debug production issues across the full stack independently.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of shipping and maintaining production software.
