Forward Deployed Engineer

Billennium is seeking a versatile Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between complex business challenges and scalable technical solutions. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, guiding them from initial discovery and solution design through to hands-on development and production deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with clients to analyze their operational workflows and strategic priorities.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into actionable, production-grade technical solutions.
• Design and build applications using cloud, data, automation, and AI technologies.
• Integrate solutions across enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party services.
• Continuously optimize deployed systems based on monitoring and user feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
• Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
• Proven experience in building backend services, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
