Forward Deployed Engineer

Billennium is seeking a versatile Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between complex business challenges and scalable technical solutions. You will act as a trusted partner, working directly with clients to design, build, and deploy impactful software that drives real-world results.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with clients to analyze operational workflows and translate ambiguous business needs into actionable technical strategies.
• Design, prototype, and deploy production-grade applications using cloud, data, and automation technologies.
• Integrate diverse enterprise systems, APIs, and databases to create seamless, high-performance user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and product stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Continuously optimize and monitor deployed solutions based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, or technical consulting roles.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
• Proven experience in building backend services, APIs, and working with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of modern development practices, including CI/CD, Git, and containerization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
