Forward Deployed Engineer (Founding)

As a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer, you will combine hands-on full-stack engineering with direct customer engagement to help organizations successfully implement and scale their integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, from initial technical evaluations to production deployment and ongoing support.
• Lead customer calls, technical deep dives, and live pairing sessions to understand requirements and guide developers toward effective implementation strategies.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and external services, resolving complex implementation issues.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy product improvements, taking ownership of solutions from discovery through release.
• Translate recurring customer needs and technical challenges into actionable product recommendations that inform the roadmap.

Requirements

• At least five years of full-stack software engineering experience with a demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Proven experience working directly with customers or developers to understand technical requirements and resolve complex issues.
• Strong understanding of APIs, third-party integrations, authentication, data flows, and production system troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple customer priorities in a fast-moving environment.
