Forward Deployed Engineer (100% Remote)

Giant Swarm is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as an embedded technical expert, helping customers transition from exploring AI to running production-grade agentic workflows. This is a hands-on, code-shipping role where you will design and build tailored solutions directly within customer environments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with customers to design, build, and ship functional agentic solutions using MCPs and our agent platform.
• Rapidly understand diverse business domains to identify and deliver high-impact AI-driven outcomes.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and production-ready workflows customized to specific customer data and systems.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams through workshops and pairing to ensure long-term project ownership.
• Provide critical feedback to our internal product team based on real-world patterns and identified gaps.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role such as a Solutions Architect or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Hands-on expertise in building with agentic AI, including tool-using LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native operational environments.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and help define new processes for our growing team.
• Availability to align your workday with European time zones (UTC +/- 2 hours).
