Forward Deployed AI Engineer (f/m/x)

Sii is looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our team and work directly with clients to build impactful AI products. You will own the entire development lifecycle, from initial business conversations and scoping to delivering working prototypes and production-ready solutions that solve real-world problems.

Key responsibilities

• Work embedded with client teams to turn ideas into concrete, buildable product concepts.
• Prototype rapidly, test with real users, and make data-driven decisions on what to scale or pivot.
• Scope, estimate, and budget projects while clearly communicating technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Build and ship LLM-powered products, including assistants, agentic workflows, and system integrations.
• Define success metrics and prioritize development based on measurable business impact.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including shipping LLM-based applications.
• Pragmatic Python skills and hands-on experience with LLM APIs, RAG, and agent frameworks.
• Proficiency in using AI-powered development tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Strong product mindset with experience in scoping, estimating, and managing project risks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to business partners.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to work autonomously and learn new technologies quickly.
