FinOps Analyst

Pretius is seeking a dedicated FinOps Analyst to join a project supporting a global-scale platform within the gaming and lottery industry. You will play a pivotal role in managing cloud financial operations, ensuring cost efficiency, and providing actionable insights to our technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze cloud usage and spend to identify optimization opportunities and track savings initiatives.
• Partner with technology teams on rightsizing, resource optimization, and cloud cost management.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning for cloud investments.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to provide clear financial and cost insights.
• Contribute to FinOps governance and explore AI-driven approaches to cloud cost analysis and forecasting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, or financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modeling.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, and Power Query.
• Interest in the practical application of AI tools like Microsoft Copilot in financial analysis.
