Financial Reporting Analyst

O-I is seeking a dedicated Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this role, you will provide essential financial advisory, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure the integrity of our US GAAP financial reporting within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate US GAAP financial reporting.
• Support the annual budget process and load financial information into Tagetik.
• Prepare insightful financial reports and analysis for various countries to monitor business performance.
• Assist with audits of US GAAP financials and statutory accounts by providing necessary documentation.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and propose actionable plans to improve business performance.
• Participate in FP&A projects and collaborate with team members to standardize and automate reporting processes.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in an SSC, BPO, or Controlling environment.
• Proficiency in English and strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles, cost management, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a global team.
• Knowledge of SAP and Tagetik systems is considered a significant advantage.
