Financial Planning & Analyst Intern

O-I is seeking a motivated Financial Planning & Analyst Intern to join our global finance team. In this role, you will support the Country Group Finance Team with essential budgeting, closing, and forecasting activities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data while gaining hands-on experience in a professional corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate US GAAP financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis to provide insightful data for decision-making.
• Support the audit of US GAAP financials and statutory accounts by preparing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with FP&A teams on data gathering, consolidation, and reporting for various forecast areas.
• Participate actively in ongoing FP&A projects and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements

• Current student in the 3rd or 4th year of Finance or Accounting studies.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in controlling or accounting.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.
• Solid skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI, MS SQL, Python, or Power Query is considered a significant advantage.
