Financial Controlling Intern

SwissBorg is a fast-growing, regulated crypto wealth management company dedicated to making investing accessible and intuitive. We are currently seeking a motivated Financial Controlling Intern to join our finance team for a one-year, fully remote internship, where you will gain hands-on experience in supporting strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly financial consolidation by preparing and reconciling inputs to ensure accuracy.
• Review and approve expense requests against company policy and budget, identifying anomalies.
• Track actuals against budget, maintain up-to-date reporting, and highlight variances.
• Conduct cost analyses and deep dives on specific areas, including HR controlling and software spend.
• Help improve and streamline existing controlling processes.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in economics, finance, business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and data interpretation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluent in English with a genuine interest in the cryptocurrency industry.
• Curiosity regarding AI and automation tools to enhance financial workflows.
