Financial Controller

FYST is seeking a dedicated junior finance professional to join our team as a Financial Controller. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop expertise in management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a dynamic fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and consolidation of management reporting, including P&L statements from multiple data sources.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, inconsistencies, and unusual variances.
• Coordinate with budget holders to collect and structure financial data for budgeting processes.
• Assist with balance sheet preparation and reconciliation activities.
• Work extensively with Excel and Google Sheets to perform financial analyses and support reporting automation initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or management reporting, preferably within the fintech or payments industry.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and the distinction between accounting records and management reporting.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups, and experience with Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically, identify data inconsistencies, and challenge assumptions.
• Fluency in Russian and intermediate proficiency in English.
