Feature Engineer (AI-native)

Voyagu is a comprehensive travel operations platform that powers travel agencies end-to-end, covering everything from trip economics and ticketing to accounting and marketing. We are looking for a Feature Engineer who takes full ownership of features and leverages AI agents as a core part of their daily development workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across the platform, including economics, sales, ticketing, and external system integrations.
• Build robust services using Python, SQLAlchemy, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL with a focus on correct transactional behavior.
• Ship complete feature slices, including necessary frontend updates in Angular.
• Work daily with AI agents like Claude Code or Cursor, focusing on planning, step-by-step execution, and rigorous verification.
• Engage deeply with business problems to understand the impact and purpose of every feature you deliver.

Requirements

• Solid backend development experience using Python.
• Strong understanding of database transactions and data integrity, with the ability to handle complex queries.
• Proven, daily experience working with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• A disciplined engineering process characterized by careful planning and self-verification of code.
• A proactive, full-stack mindset with the willingness to work across the entire application.
• Professional proficiency in English.
