Expert Java Developer (remote from Europe) - Deadline 17/09/26

AlmavivA de Belgique is seeking an Expert Java Developer to join their team for a fully remote role. You will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level systems, focusing on microservices and messaging architectures to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop production-grade backend systems using Java, microservices, and messaging patterns.
• Implement OAUTH authentication mechanisms and ensure high-quality code through unit and integration testing.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines while assisting with system deployment and configuration.
• Maintain clean, secure code and contribute to technical documentation, logging, and auditing features.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team, providing accurate work estimates and clear communication.

Requirements

• Over 15 years of IT experience, with at least 9 years specifically in Java backend development.
• Proven expertise in Java frameworks including Spring Boot 3 and Vert.X, with experience in Apache NiFi 2.0 and Kafka Streams.
• Strong background in REST APIs, RDBMS, TSQL, and Enterprise Integration patterns using Apache Camel.
• Experience with OAUTH standards, secure coding practices, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, multi-cultural environment with a strong grasp of Agile methodologies.
