Expert Application Security Specialist

Link Group is seeking an Expert Application Security Specialist to join a dynamic Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. In this role, you will be responsible for managing access groups, user accounts, and service accounts within SailPoint IQ, ensuring that all permissions align with business requirements and rigorous security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user access data to identify inactive accounts, excessive permissions, and unnecessary access rights.
• Coordinate the onboarding and clean-up of access groups and accounts within the SailPoint IQ platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application managers, and IT teams to gather information and define appropriate security actions.
• Work alongside RACF and IAM subject matter experts to identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting requirements and support project planning and scope management.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in IAM, application security, or user access administration.
• Hands-on expertise with SailPoint IQ, specifically regarding the management of access groups and user accounts.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and general application security best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.
• Proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently within a project-based environment.
