Experienced Web Scraping Engineer - Python (Remote)

Oxylabs is a global leader in proxy and web data scraping solutions, supporting Fortune 500 companies with cutting-edge infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced Web Scraping Engineer to join our team and help maintain systems that process over 60PB of data traffic monthly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web scrapers and parsing solutions.
• Define resilient scraping strategies and implement techniques to unblock websites.
• Improve system observability and develop robust back-end solutions for complex data extraction tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain current infrastructure and introduce new features.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience working with Python and asynchronous programming.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Practical knowledge of network protocols, specifically TLS/SSL, and browser automation tools.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and familiarity with browser Dev Tools.
• Proven ability to use various scraping techniques and open-source tools to overcome anti-scraping measures.
