Experienced Data Engineer with GCP

As part of the Solita Group, we combine data, business, and technology expertise to build impactful digital services, and we are currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a greenfield data platform project for a Nordic client.

Key responsibilities

• Building end-to-end ELT data pipelines using the GCP stack, including BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Designing robust data models based on large, complex datasets to meet diverse business requirements.
• Adopting a holistic platform view covering source systems, networking, and orchestration to deliver tangible business value.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience working with Cloud Data Warehouses, with a strong preference for BigQuery.
• Deep understanding of data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling and Data Vault.
• Proficiency in combining SQL and Python with modern ELT toolsets, with experience in Cloud Dataflow being a significant advantage.
• Practical knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Polish, along with the legal right to work in the EU.
