micro1 is seeking Exocentric Video Recorders to contribute to a specialized project focused on capturing high-quality, naturalistic video data. In this role, you will play a vital part in training next-generation AI systems by providing real-world input that helps models learn, reason, and perform more effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Collect high-quality video footage of yourself performing natural, everyday activities.
• Record in a variety of indoor, outdoor, and vehicle-based environments.
• Execute specific third-person recording tasks, including vehicle navigation and movement-based activities.
• Ensure all video clips meet technical standards, including a minimum duration of 60 seconds per clip.
• Follow detailed safety and recording instructions to maintain consistency across all data collection.

Requirements

• Access to a compatible camera with at least a 170° field of view and 720p resolution.
• Ability to utilize specific third-person mounting rigs, such as backpack mounts, to capture the required perspective.
• Capability to position the camera to keep your entire body and the surrounding environment consistently in frame.
• Commitment to capturing diverse, real-world scenarios as outlined in the project guidelines.
• Attention to detail regarding camera stability and framing requirements during movement.
