Executive Director, Lifecycle Leader

Iovance Biotherapeutics is a leader in innovating and developing tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy to transform cancer treatment. We are seeking an Executive Director, Lifecycle Leader to shape our program vision and drive strategic execution across global indications.

Key responsibilities

• Define the cross-functional vision, strategic context, and lifecycle plan for current and future business opportunities.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for program execution, ensuring milestones align with the approved lifecycle plan.
• Foster alignment across commercial, development, and regulatory teams to achieve corporate goals.
• Facilitate high-impact decision-making by incorporating cross-functional input and presenting clear recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Manage day-to-day program health, ensuring a collaborative environment that encourages honest feedback and effective problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; an advanced degree such as a PhD, MD, or MBA is highly desirable.
• 15+ years of bio-pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 5 years as a Lifecycle Leader or Program Team Leader.
• Strong knowledge of the drug development process, including commercial launch experience.
• Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific and clinical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
