Excel / VBA Consultant

YOUR ITEAMS sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Excel / VBA Consultant to conduct a discovery and assessment engagement focused on a business-critical pricing model. You will evaluate existing implementations, document complex business logic, and provide strategic recommendations for modernization to ensure long-term scalability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Review the current Excel pricing model architecture and analyze VBA code to identify redundant or high-risk components.
• Map data sources, system integrations, and dependencies supporting the pricing model.
• Document and validate the business logic underpinning complex pricing calculations.
• Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and maintainability issues within the legacy solution.
• Prepare structured technical documentation and propose a roadmap for refactoring or replacing the existing system.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and analyzing advanced Excel models and complex VBA code.
• Strong ability to diagnose legacy implementations and map intricate data flows.
• Experience in producing high-quality technical documentation and structured analysis.
• Demonstrated history of leading or participating in modernization efforts for spreadsheet-based solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to both business and IT stakeholders.
