English to Tagalog (Philippines) linguist for Marketing, Legal & Online Help

Welo Global is a leading provider of multilingual AI, technology, and content solutions, supporting over 2,000 clients worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Tagalog (Philippines) linguist to join our network and support localization projects for a major global technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Perform translation, copy editing, and linguistic review for Marketing, Legal, Online Help, and Product content.
• Execute quality control and quality assurance reviews to ensure high standards.
• Work efficiently within specific client platforms to meet daily turnaround times.
• Handle MTPE tasks from English into Tagalog (Philippines) as required by project needs.

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog (Philippines) with an excellent command of English.
• Proven professional experience in translation or localization within Marketing, Legal, or technical domains.
• Proficiency in using CAT tools for translation projects.
• A degree in Linguistics or Translation, or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on daily tasks.
