English to German (Germany or Switzerland) Linguist & Copy Editor for Product, Marketing & UI Content

Welo Global is a leading provider of multilingual AI, technology, and content solutions, serving a diverse range of global clients. We are currently seeking experienced English to German linguists to join our network for a long-term, fully remote project supporting a major multinational company.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and copy-edit a variety of content types including marketing, UI, product, support, and informational materials.
• Perform machine translation post-editing tasks to ensure high-quality output.
• Utilize client-specific CAT tools to maintain consistency and efficiency across all projects.
• Collaborate closely with our localization teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions to ensure the final content meets the specific needs of the target audience.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German (de-DE and/or de-CH) and an excellent command of English (en-US).
• At least 2 years of professional translation experience with a relevant degree, or 5+ years of experience without a formal degree.
• Proven track record of translating diverse content types, including marketing and UI strings.
• Proficiency in using CAT tools and a strong ability to adapt to new software environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage high-volume workloads effectively.
